About
Who's on the other side of the code.
André Bordignon is a Brazilian freelance developer based in Brasília, working remotely across Brazil, with nine years of experience in React, React Native and Next.js — building web and mobile products from first commit to recurring revenue.
I started programming professionally in 2017 and never drifted far from the product. I've worked in agency teams, on internal products and directly with clients, and the conclusion was always the same: what separates good software from expensive software is how many wrong decisions you avoid before the first line.
Today I split my time between team work — modernizing production React Native apps in retail — and my own products, where I'm the product, the design, the code and the support. That second half is what taught me to think about operating cost, billing and churn, not just components.
I'm based in Brasília and work remotely across Brazil. I work with a written scope before starting, a preview on every delivery, and technical decisions written down — because a year from now someone will ask why, and I want to have the answer.
I don't subcontract. You talk to the person writing the code.

A 30-minute conversation about the problem usually settles more than three email threads about technology. If it isn't for me, I'll say so right away.
